We’re dedicated to serving the people of Guatemala in practical ways and sharing the Gospel
who we are
A small non-profit mission organization that serves a great big God. In partnership with Guatemalan brothers and sisters, we actively share the gospel and endeavor to meet tangible needs through short-term mission teams to both build the kingdom and build up the body as they serve others.
We accomplish this by providing:
- Clear presentation of the gospel during visits and home dedications.
- Housing to those currently living in sub-standard conditions.
- Food baskets for single parent households.
- Water filters to prevent water-borne illnesses.
- Scholarships for schooling to prevent the cycle of poverty.
- Building relationships through fellowship, bible studies and community involvement.
WHY ARE WE CALLED ETERNAL IMPACT?
Although we do meet immediate needs of the people we serve in Guatemala, such as food, clothing and housing, our focus is on meeting the spiritual needs and desire that our witness and message bring people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 5:1)
AREA OF MINISTRY
We minister in Guatemala, specifically the town of Magdalena Milpas Altas and the surrounding towns. The name translates as Magdalena Tall Corn and is located about 25 miles southwest of the capital, Guatemala City.
OUR MISSION
The purpose of ETERNAL IMPACT Missions is to help fulfill the Great Commission
by reaching those who are unreached with the Word of Jesus Christ.
current projects
The following are a list of projects that we are working on:
• Building houses for approximately $2850 per house through short-term mission trips.
• Enhancements to the building (bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen) that the short-term teams will use for cooking, eating, and worshipping. This will allow the team to be closer to the people we serve in Magdalena Milpas Altas.
CURRENT NEEDS
Prayer
We truly believe that prayer is the ultimate need for all endeavors. Pray that the Lord provides workers and churches to perform the work that He has for us.
Financial Support
• As travel and materials cost money, monthly and one-time gifts are appreciated. • We endeavor to keep all overhead costs to a minimum, but there are items such as maintaining an NGO (non-governmental organization) status in Guatemala and tax requirements for maintaining status in the US that require some money. • The cost of a short-term trip is approximately $1200 dollars (pricing can be fluctuate with airfare).
Servant Support
Jesus said: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Matt. 9:37-38). We pray earnestly for individuals and teams to serve with us for short-term trips.
